Founded in 2024, Places Shoe Laces started as a little pop-up idea from a scrappy group of folks who’ve been traveling this beautiful country always kinda broke — but always on the lookout for something cool, unique, and cheap to remember the trip by.

With not much more than a busted van, sandy shoes, and a SHOE STRING BUDGET, we kicked off what became the Original Places Shoe Laces Company. We’re just leftover hippies, surfers, campers, and road-trippers who spent our last few bucks on fishing bait, trail snacks, and gas money — always hunting for that perfect little souvenir from every beach, river, and mountain town we passed through.

Then one day someone said:

"Man, why is it so hard to find shoelaces when you actually need 'em?"
 

Another shouted,

“PLACES SHOE LACES!”
…and the rest is history.
 

We design and hand-print custom shoelaces that are more than just functional — they’re personalized souvenir shoelaces made to capture the places you love and the memories you’ve made. These aren’t just custom printed shoelaces — they’re little reminders of where you’ve been (and where you’re headed).

Since then, we’ve grown from beachside booths to being stocked in fun shops and tourist towns coast to coast.
